I have worked for over 10 years in different departments at Cornell University and since 1998 I have been employed in the Electrical Engineering department assisting Prof. Eastman's research group on microwave and semiconductors. My newest project in this department is to organize the 1st Gallium Nitride Electronic Device Workshop, a first time event, that will be held August 16 and 17, 1999 here at Cornell.
Prior to coming to the United States, I held positions in Tokyo (patent office), London (travel agency), Darmstadt/Germany (machinery firm) and assisted the Director for Telecommunication at Siemens in Munich.
In the evenings and on week-ends, I do over-the-phone interpretation (English-German) for Language Line Services® and tutor students studying German. In my spare time, I like to garden, play tennis, travel, and read.
